Our Windows
We are extraordinarily blessed to have stained glass artist Leslie Mason as a member of our church family. Leslie has created many windows for the church building, as well as our outdoor sign.

The window at the back of the nave, incorporates the
image of the Holy Spirit descending as a dove
along with many other birds that are native to our region.
The window also incorporates the Celtic Cross
from the previous window, designed and created by
Ruth Green, formerly of Blaine.
At the other end of the nave, above the altar, this window illustrates the elements of the
principal sacraments - water for Baptism, with wheat and grapes representing the
bread and wine offered in the Holy Eucharist.
In all the sacraments we recognize the action of the
Holy Spirit giving grace and power to our prayers and actions.

These two angels were installed in the Vicar's office in the summer of 2008.
Our newest window, installed in the fall of 2008,
is found in the church's sacristy where the altar guild
does much of its work preparing the altar and the
church for worship, and maintaining the vestments and
vessels the church uses.
Because the first mention of the altar found in the Bible
is Noah's sacrifice of thanksgiving after the Flood,
we felt it was particularly fitting to have him
as the subject of this window. Here we can see the
dove again, this time bringing the olive branch to
Noah, signalling the end of the Flood.
