Backstage at the Border
Kelley Porter and Susan Thomson
Saturday, October 14th
Doors open at 6:30 pm
During the month of October, each Wednesday from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm we will come together in Gibb's Hall to discuss, and have fun with,The Episcopal Church - its history, tradition, and liturgy.
-Why do we do what we do?
-How did it all begin?
-How can we be both Catholic and Protestant?
-What is Anglicanism?
-What is Via Media?
These are just some of the questions you will find answers to during our time together.
The discussion and fellowship is open to all cradle-Episcopalians, new-comers, the curious, those new to the tradition, and all those who just want to hang out with good company and conversation.
Please email Dawn+ at email@example.com if you are interested in participating.
The meals will be potluck. Let Dawn+ know if you are able to bring a dish. Sign-up sheets will be available in the Parish Hall.
Below are three books Dawn+ is using for reference. We will be reading together the book: Your Faith, Your Life by Jenifer Gamber. You can purchase a copy through Amazon.com by clicking the link
